About
Practice and expertise
Hi, I’m Victor Gorsky-Mochalov. I’m an intellectual property lawyer, based in Belgrade and working with clients worldwide.
Over the past 12 years, I have overseen legal strategy for clients across a range of industries: fintech, game development, iGaming, e-commerce, FMCG, fashion, AI, and creative brands.
Alongside my legal practice, I research and lecture on intellectual property law and provide expert commentary to the media. Since 2017, I have hosted Lawread, a channel about law. From 2018 to 2026, I co-hosted Copycast, a podcast about intellectual property. I hold a Master of Laws from Saint Petersburg State University; my research examined the constitutional foundations of university autonomy.
I welcome invitations to give lectures, lead training workshops, or comment for the media on subjects within my areas of expertise.
